Army Base Hospital, Fort Le- roy Johnson, New Orleans, La. Mrs. Miers is thé former Judith Winans of Wyoming where Sgt. Winans serves with the Police Bar- racks. The new baby, Johrson Corey Miers 3rd is in an incubator, being bern prematurely. His Dad is on special duty with the Army for several weeks. This is the first grandchild for both the Miers and the Winans. Both mother and baby are doing nicely. Will Return From Okinawa Captain Ellen Nehr, stationed on Okinawa as Comptroller with the 51st Air Base Group since January of 1961, will return in November to Chase. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gibbons, Chase. Walter Davises Visit Old Dallas Neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Walter Davis, Daven- port Street, spent some time last week, visiting Mrs. Irvin Karns, Cres: sona, Mrs. Karns, with her late hus- band, were former Dallas residents and operated a Fish Market, on a site near Kuehn's Drug (Store. There were three children, Tommy, Peggy, and Pat. Tommy died at three with lukemia; Peggy is now Mrs. Earl Kirchner, she and her husband own and operate a cranberry farm and processing plant, in New Jersey.
