PAGE SIX Nearly a hundred members and guests of Harveys Lake Womans Service Club enjoyed a Christmas party Monday evening at Kunkle Community Hall, a location for the entertainment made necessary by continued lack of water at Lake- Noxen high school. A Christmas play, “The Youngest Shepherd,” was presented under direction of Mrs. Fred Swanson. Taking part were: Alan Swanson, the Youngest Shepherd; The Star, Flora Manconi; Mary, Mary Payne; Joseph, Mary Engler; an angel, Bar- bara Schreiner; shepherds, Pauline Davis, Esther Armitage, Mary Mon- tross; Wise Men, Ruth Deets, Hilda Leinthal, Helen Bialogowicz. It was announced that Harveys Lake Lions have again contributed $100 to Christmas cheer baskets. Mrs. Garvin Smith reported on plans for distribution.
