(International) Big Crowd At Coon Farm Sale Brisk Bidding For Farm Equipment . A big crowd attended the public sale of farm equipment, cows and stock at the Harvey F. Coon farm, Wyoming RD 3 on Saturday after- noon. In spite of’ “unpleasant weather and a dull day, bidding was brisk. A Farmall M Tractor, twelve years old, brought $1,200. A grade cow brought the top price of $400. The sale started at 12:30 with Howard Sands as auctioneer and Ralph Sands as sales manager. Shortly after four there was a downpour of rain but it failed to dampen the spirit of the crowd which stayed on until after 5 to buy the cattle which were auc- tioned under the electric lights. Until the illness of Mr. Coon, who has been bedfast for several months but is now much improved, the Coon farm has been one of the outstanding potato producers in the Carverton area. Frequently the har- vest has been as high as 5,000 bushels. Another big truck crop has been cabbage.
