A certain percentage of every sub- scription price will be turned over to the Auxiliary to buy supplies. “Sir, I'd like to discuss my suggestion in person!” Mrs. Pearl Bartels Buried Yesterday Mrs. Pearl Symons Bartels, 60, Shavertown, who died at Nesbitt Hospital after a brief illness on Monday, was buried in Mt. Green- wood Cemetery yesterday, follow- ing services by Rev. Robert D. Yost, of whose church Mrs. Bartel’s was a member. She is survived by her husband, Fred Bartels; her mother, Mrs. Mary Jane Symons, 85, who has made her home with the family for the past eighteen years; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon May, Vestal, N. Y. and Jane, at home; a brother Everett, children. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she has lived in the Back Mountain for the past twenty-seven years, first in Trucksville for ten years, then in Shavertown. Death was unexpected, though Mrs. Bartels had not been in rug- ged health of late.
