Auxiliary is sponsoring a drive for
sick room equipment in the Back
Mountain Area, articles purchased
to be given or lent to needy Back

This is how it works. Repre-
sentatives of the Cromwell Col-

at homes to sell their publications.
A certain percentage of every sub-
scription price will be turned over
to the Auxiliary to buy supplies.

Buried Yesterday
Mrs. Pearl Symons Bartels, 60,
Shavertown, who died at Nesbitt
Hospital after a brief illness on
Monday, was buried in Mt. Green-

ing services by Rev. Robert D.
Yost, of whose church Mrs. Bartel’s

She is survived by her husband,
Fred Bartels; her mother, Mrs. Mary
Jane Symons, 85, who has made
her home with the family for the
past eighteen years; two daughters,
Mrs. Gordon May, Vestal, N. Y. and
Jane, at home; a brother Everett,

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she has
