W. Keithline Dies Suddenly Heart Attack Funeral services for Earl W. Keithline, 55, formerly of Shaver- town, who died unexpectedly at Pottsville = Monday afternoon at 12:30 following a heart attack which he suffered while’ driving to his home in Cressona, will be held this afternoon at 2 from 64 North Franklin street, Wilkes-Barre. Rev. Frederick W. Reinfurt will officiate. Interment will be beside his wife in Fernknoll Burial Park. Mr. Keithline had spent the weekend with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Richards, Saginaw street, Goss Manor. When he left Monday morn- ing he was apparently not feeling up to par, but insisted on return- ing to his work although his dau- ghter urged him to stay. On the way he stopped in for a chat with his old fishing companion, Sheldon Evans and said that if he got feeling better he would return for a trip in the Spring. Born in Wilkes-Barre and for several years a resident of Shaver- town and Parsons, he was employed for the past fifteen years by the East Penn Transport Company of Pottsville. His wife Maude A. Keithline died ,on November 30, 1947. Surviving are one son, Robert, of Williamsport; his daughter, Mrs. Daniel R. Richards, Dallas; his mother, Mrs. Amy MacCloskey, of Washington, D. C.; a brother, Jack MacCloskey, Washington, and two sisters, Miss June MacCloskey, of Kingston, and Mrs. P. B. Thomas of Baltimore, Md. Two grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Jack Barnes was presented with a gift. Present were Mrs. Jonathan Williams, Mrs. Peter Clark, Mrs. Ray Titus, Mrs. Jack Barnes, Mrs. William Diebert, Mrs. James Hilferty, Mrs. Thomas Bottoms, Mrs. F. B. Schooley and the hostess. Sweet Valley Equipment Proves Effective At Fire Hi-Pressure Fog equipment of Sweet Valley Volunteer Fire Com- pany performed yeoman service a week ago Monday at a serious blaze in Mocanaqua where two homes were destroyed.
