GREENWOOD — TRUCKSVILLE Sell Bunker Hill School To Church : Township Directors Adopt Budget For Ensuing Year Kingston Township School Board, ~ meeting with all members present, a- dopted the budget for the coming year this week. On motion of George Prater the ‘board voted to pay $14,100 plus inter- est on short term notes held by Lu- zerne National Bank, the money to be paid from the bonds sold by the board, The payroll and current expenses, a- mounting to $4,420.48, and $660 for at- torney’s fées were ordered paid. The board signed the deed for the sale of the Bunker Hill school house sociation, As a committee the board ~ gave contracts for part of the school and janitors’ supplies. Contracts will be awarded for the balance of supplies later. Before the meeting the directors met with Architect Herr at the Trucksville grade school grounds and selected the position of the new building. Mr. Herr expects to have plans in readiness for the meeting tonight (Friday), have the Education at Harrisburg and be ready to advertise for bids promptly. Girl Scouts Plan Party For June 22 Mrs. Hayden Williams of Shaver- town entertained members of the com- mittee of Girl Scout Troop, No. 9, at her home.
