They were assisted by Mamie Robertson Bare, reader, and Jesse Williams, bass solo- ist. Although the weather was inclement many braved ‘the rain and snow to make a very appreciative audience. The church was artistically decorat- ed with palms, ferns, and baskets of chrysanthemuns and pom poms. The glee club sat in a semi circle with the director, Mrs. Sara Sanford, standing in the front. The entire organization was dressed in black and white and made a very affective appearance.
