After the second-stringers gained a 10 to 9 margin in the opening period, Coach Pat Marquette put his varsity on the floor and, it proceeded to score 29 points in the second frame while holding the visitors scoreless. That finished their activity for the evening and the reserves re- turned to gain 19 to 8 and 12 to 8 edges in the second half.
