At a meeting of the standing com mittee of Republican complexion in the courthouse on St.Patrick's Day, Saturday last, it was voted to hold the Republican Primaries on Satur day, April 14, to elect delegates to meet in convention in Laporte, Pa., on Monday, April 10, 1900. It is not likely that a county ticket will be named at this early date and the convention, it is understood, will adjourn until some future date after electing a state delegate to represent them in the state convention held in I tarrisburg, April 2G. By virtue of a writ of Fieri Facias ' issued out of the Court of Common Pleas of Sullivan County and to me directed and delivered there will be exposed to public sale at the Court House in Laporte, Pa., on THURSDAY, APR IE 5, 1900, at 10 o'clock a. ni., the following describ ed property, viz: All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land lying and being in the township of Forks, county of SiUlivan and state of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a hemlock corner, the North-east corner of the tract, thence south about 23 degrees east 320 perches to a stone corner; thence south about 07 degrees west|l2l perches to for a corner; thence north about 23 degrees wast 320 perches to a corner and thence north about 07 degrees east 121 perches to the place of beginning, containing about 23'.) acres and J 7 perches of land more or less.
