The license of the Laporte Hotel granted to Russel Karns, is trans ferred to D. M. Stewart and P. F, May, by the court. Court adjourned to meet on Mon day April 23, 1893, at 2 p m. when Argument cases will be heard. Council Froreeilliiifs. Council met ut Ingham's office on Monday evening April 2. Present, Jsmes McFarlane, F. M. Crossley, T. J. Keeler, F H. Ingham and J. Harry Spencer. President Keeler being in tLe chair. Spencer, " James McFarlane No. I'lie minutes were approved. Bills of auditors for years '92 and '93, were brought before the council and on motion orders were drawn for the s;ime. Bill of Walter Spencer presented for building side walk in front of Parsonage. Order was drawn for the same. The bill to be presented to T. J. &F. H. Ingham for pay ment to reimburse the Boro. James Walsh was appointed street commissioner. The price fixed for man and team on the road is, $3.00 per day and man alone $1.25 a day. i'iie road commissioner to bo paid §1.50 a day. F. M. Crossley was appointed Chief of Police. Taxes for boro. puiposes will be levied as bcretos fore, 10 mills on the dollar. On motion, the bill for auditing the ac counts of the boro. for 1893, were laid on the table. T. J. Keeler was appointed a committee of one to col lect outstanding debts due boro. 11 was mi ved that the auditors report for Bt>3, be returned to the auditors with a recommendation that the amount —$342. license moneys be stricken from the records as not being in the hands of the Boro.
