Heed Bosworth Camp, one of Sayre's best known and most highly respected citizens, died yesterday at his bome on Olive street Though in poor health for a long time Mr Camp did not give ap work until one week 8go Baturday when he was compelled to go home. He was a sufferer from asthma, and this disease brought on heart failure which resulted in death. The deceased had been a resident of Bayre for over 14 yeArs He was an expert walchmaker and for 12 years had been connected with 1. According to the new book of rules Issued by the Lehigh Valey Raliroad Company the engineers will receive a rubstantial benefifit when the wage scale is adjusted Under the new ar- rapgement, engineers on yard and mine shifts, will be given ten hours a day with the same rate of wages as now prevail Enginemen who work five hours or Tess shal receive one-half day's pay hoursand all who work more than five hours and 30 minutes will he given a day's pay Whenever uvnginemen are called to report for work, and the train is an- nulled, one-fourth of a day will be allowed, and the enginemen so called stand first out Passenger train helping engineers between Wilkes-Barre and Mauch Chunk shall be pald at the rate of $3.75 per day.
