D., where they will reside in the future, DRUNKS SENT 10 OWECO Waverly — Two drunks were corraled last night. One, giving his name as George Armstrong, was very lame. He claimed Jersey City as his home and said he sold court plaster “and such as that” for a living. He was evidently an old rounder and was given fifteen days at Owego. The other, who had only one leg, gave his name as John Mur- acter, and was sent to Owego for a protracted stay. The part of Uncle Tom is played by Mr. Edward Espy, probably the best known impersonator of the character in America, as he was the original Tom in Stetson’'s com- pany, which has been before the public for many years. Misses Lillian Johnson and Emma Glasby are the Topsies and Messrs. David Boyer and Niles Nelson play the character of Marks, the lawyer. There will be fifty capable people in the cast who are players of more than ordinary ability. Among the novel specialties introduced will be the buck dancing of Tom Kelly, the superb vocal numbers of the “Ladies’ Creole Quartette” and the “Lone Star Male Quintett:” The scenery of this production is said to be entirely new and truly mag- nificent.
