The HARRIS — PACK KIT equity suit before Judge LINN, was resumed yesterday. Owing to the absence of important documents an ad journment was had till this m rning. The ladies of the M. E. Church will hold a sociable in the church parlors this evening and cordially invite all their friends to be present. Icecream, strawberries and other refreshments will be served. The Catholics have engaged the fairgrounds in East Towanda for the Fourth of July, and will celcbrote the day there in a pleasant and we doubt not profitable manner. They in vite the public to join with them. Mr. DECKER, who is in pursuit of thief who stole his horse and buggy last week, found that the fellow had fed in Springfield and told the farmer at whose house he stop ped that lie was a traveling salesman and had to meet his employer on important business in Wellsborough, and asked to be directed by the shortest route without going through Mainsburor Mansfield. He was advised to follow Marsh and Lamb creeks, (a road not much frequented), as the shortest. It issup • posed he was making for Pine Creek, in that case Mr. DECKER will have difficulty in find ing his sloleu property.
