f Ah.vc we n resent vou with a likeness ot VU. MOUSE the inventor of MOUSE'S INDIAN ROOT TILLS. This pliilanthnpi&t has spent the greater part of his life in traveling, having visited Europe, Asia, ami Africa, as well as North America has spent three years among the Indians of our Western country it was in this way that the Indian Hoot l'ii's were hrst discovered, Dr. Morse was the first man to es tablish the fact that all diseased arise from IM PURITY OF THE DLOOD that our strength, health and lifo depended upon this vital fluid. When the various passages become clogged, and do not act in perfect harmony with the dif ferent functions of the body, the blood loses its action, becomes thick, corrupted, and diseased; thus causing all pains, sickness and distress of every name; our strength is exhausted, our health we arc deprived of, and if nature is not assisted in throwing oil" the stagnant humors, the blood will become choked and cease to act, and thus our light of life will forever be blown out. How impoitant then that we should keep the various passages of the b.dy free and open. And how pleasant to us that we have it in our power to put a medicine in your reach, namely, Morse's Iudian Hoot Tills, manufactured from plants and roots which grow around the mountainous clills in Nature's Garden, fr the health and recovery of diseased man. One of the roots from which these Tills are madi$ is a Sudorific, which opens the pores of the skin, and assists Nature in throwing oat the finer parts of the corruption within. The second is a plant which is an Ex pectorant, that opens and unclogs the passage to the lungs, and thus, in a soothing manner, per forms its duty in throwing oil" phlegm, and other humors from the lungs by copious spitting. The third is a Diuretic, which gives double ease and strength to the kidneys ; thus encouraged, they draw large amounts of impurity from the blood, which is then thrown out bountifully by the uri nary or water passage, and which could not have been discharged in auy other way. The fourth is a Cathartic, and accompanies the other prop erties of the Tills while engaged in purifying the blood ; the coarser particles of impurity which cannot pass by the other outlets, are thus taken up and conveyed off iu great quantities by the bowels. From the above, it is shown that Dr. Morse's Indian Hoot Tills not ocly enter the stomach, but become united with the blood, for they find way to every part, ami completely rout out and cleanse the system from all impurity, and tlie life of the body, which is the blood, becomes per fectly healthy; consequently all sickness and pain is driven from the system, for they cannot remain when the body becomes so pure and clear. The reason v hypeople are so distressed when sick, and why so many die. is because they do not gt a medicine which will pass to the aftllc- ted parts, and which will open tin natural pas sage for the disease to be cast out; hence, a large quantity of food and other matter is lodg ed, and the stomach and intestines are literally overflowing with the corrupted mass; thus un dergoing a disagreeable fermentation, constantly mixing with the blood, which throws the cor rupted matter through every vein and artery, until life ::s taken from the bjily by disease. Dr. Morse's TILLS have added to themselves victory upon victory, by restoring millions of the sick to blooming health and happiness. Yes, thousands who have been racked or tormented with sick ness, pain and anguish, and whose feeble frames have been scorched by the burning elements of raging fever, and who have been brought, as it were, within a step of the silent grave, now stand ready to testify that they would have been numbered with the dead, had it not been for this great and w. n.lerful medicine, Morse's Iu dian Uoot Tills. After one or two doses had been ttiken, they were astonished, and absolutely surprised, in witnessing their charming effects. Not only do they give immediate case and strength, and take away all sickness, pain and anguish, but they at nce go to work at the foundation "f the disease, which is the blood. Therefore, it will be shown, especially by those who use these Tills, that they will cl.;anse and purify, that disease that deadly enemy will take its flight, and the flush of youth and beauty will again return, and the prospect of a long and happy life will cherish and brighten your days. CARR & CO. l ebruary 17, I858.tf Aycr's Sarsaparilla A compound remedy, in which we have la. bored to produce the most effectual alterative that can le made. It is a concentrated extract of Para Sarsaparilla, so combined with other substances of still greater alterative power as to afford an effective antidote for the disease? Sarsaparilla is reputed to cure. It is believed that such a remedy is wanted by those who suffer from Strumous complaints, and that one which will accomplish their cure mus-t prove of immense service to this largo cl;is of our aHicted fellow-citizens. How completely this compound will do it has been proven by exper iment on many of the worst. c&o to he found of the following complaints : ScaorviiA. axd ScuorcLors CoMri.rxTS, Uiturxioxs and Ehuptive Diseases, UlX'KU", Pimples, Blotches, Tumors, Salt Rhf.um, Scali IIeati, Syphilis axi Syphilitic Af fections, Mercurial Disease, Dkopsy, Neu kalgia ou Tic Douloureux, Debility, Dys pepsia and Indigestion, Erysipelas, Hons or St. Anthony's Fire, and indeed the wholo class of complaints arising from Impurity or the Blood. This compound will Ijc found a great pro moter of health, when taken in the spring, to expel the foul hiunors which fester in the blood at that season of the year. By the time ly expulsion of them many rankling disorders are nipped in the bud. 'Multitudes can, by the aid of this remedy, spare thumselves from the endurance of foul eruptions and ulcerous sores, through which the system will strive to rid itself of corruptions if not assisted to do this through the natural channels of the body by an alterative medicine. Cleanse out the vitiated blood whenever you find its impurities bursting through the skiu in pimples, eruptions or sores ; cleanse it when you find it is ob fctrueted and sluggish in the veins ; cleanse i whenever it is foul, and your feelings will tell you when. Even where no particular disorder is felt, people enjoy better health, and live longer, for cleansing the blood. Keep the blood healthy, and all is well ; but with this pabulum of life disordered, there can be no lasting health. Sooner or later something must go wrong, and the great machinery of life is disordered or overthrown. Sarsaparilla has, and deserves much, the reputation, of accomplishing these, ends. But the world has been egregiously deceived by preparations of it, partly because the dru alone has not all the virtue that is claimed for it, but more because many preparations, pretending to be concentrated extracts of it, contain but little of the virtue of Sarsaparilla, or any thing else. During late years the public have Wen mis led by large bottles, pretending to give a quart of Extract of Sarsaparilla for one dollar. Most of these have been frauds upon the sick, for they not only contain little, if any, Sarsapa rilla, but often no curative properties whatev er. Hence, bitter and painful disappointment has followed the use of the various extract of Sarsaparilla which flood the market, until the name itself is justly despised, and has become synonymous with imposition and cheat. Still we call this compound Sarsaparillu, and intend to supply such a remedy as shall rescue tic name from the load of obloquy which rests upon it. And wc ti-.ir k we have pround or believing it has virtues which" rre imi "-side by the ordinary run of the disease? it is intend ed to cure- Iu order to secure thuir comp'cto eradication from the system, the remedy should be judiciously taken according tc directions on the bottle. prepared by DIti J.
