After learning that it was to be an entfro Itrle organization, composed' of young men, who for the majority, were considered "permanent fixtures" to . the town, of about the average ago of 21, with Prof.. They succeeded in rais ing seventy dollars, and being unable to secure more funds, came , to us, stating that fifty dollars had been paid on a set of silver instruments to secure them, and showed us a letter . stating that this amount would be forfeited, unless the balance, two hundred dollars, was paid within a week, .u.d the instruments sold ~.ietber party.
