Mitchell, Esq., both wagon and horses slid over the bank into the creek. The driver jumped off in time to keep from goingalongintothecreek. Although the bank was high and the water some five feet deep, yet strange to i-ay no serious damage was done to horses or wagon. It was one of the most singular escapes from injury or loss we have heard of. —The Germania Orchestra of this place favored our citizens with another of their fine concerts last Thursday evening. The principal featuresof the entertainment were the Clarinet and Trombone solos, by Messrs. Lowman and Croup, the medley on popular airs, the fantasia on well known hymns, and the Doctor's address on Church Music.
