On Monday night, last, about 12 o'clock, the Mammoth Drag Store of Dr. Thornton & Christ, on Market Street in this place, waa discovered to be on fire in the second story. The sparks and Luruing cinders fell in showers on the stables and ware house :'ud loose straw within sixty and eighty feet of the fhinies, and also on the Baptist church, but the dampness occasioned by the late rains prevented their ignition.
