Choose job categories that suit your career interests, not necessarily your major For instance, say you are a marketing major looking to go into real estate. Marketing falls under several job categories, but you noticed that marketing doesn't fall under insurance and real estate, your true passion. Because marketing isn't listed under insurance and real estate doesn't mean that companies hiring for that job category will not hire you. Search for what you are interested in! Go online to view the employer database and search by the job categories best suits your interests. Also, check out the "Employer Snapshot," which is a quick list of employers and booth locations, updated daily Monday - Friday. Interviewing HUB or Bank of America Career Services Center Interviewers have three major criteria in mind Can you do the job? (skills) Will you do the job? (interest/ motivation) Are you a good fit with the organization? (personal qualities) Apply online. Many recruiters will be on the lookout for your résumé online as the next required step in the application process. By presenting yourself at the Fair and talking to recruiters, they are more likely to be looking for your application.
