Fraser St. The items, valued at $lOO, were taken sometime between Friday and Monday while the car was parked in the Pugh Street parking garage, State College police said. • Bruce Valen (9th-man-environment relations) yesterday reported the theft of a 10-speed Gitane inter-club pedacycle from Beta Sigma Beta Fraternity, 255 E. Fairmount Ave. The estimated loss was $BO, police said. • A calculator and some clothing were stolen from a locker at the State College High School on Westerly Parkway, Monday. The items were valued at $B5, police said. The Board of Trustees has approved a $33 room and board increase for next year which includes a $5 per person charge for permanent refrigerators. Also, students will bd able to get a refund for Fall Term, and the charge will not be included in the bills for other terms. Whisler said refrigerators are a "luxury item" which students may not want to pay for, and some students have a "tight budget." The proposal would also give new and transfer students the option to have a refrigerator placed in their rooms if one is not there when they arrive in winter and spring.
