The Association of Residence Hall Students (ARHS) suggested the ex tension two weeks ago, by a unanimous resolution, ARHS president Dave Robbins said. Robbins said the housing office does not want to do •' Y.,:.~ p.m. Mon.-Sat. away with temporary housing, but it just wants to bring the requests down to a manageable number. Prime Minister 'Yitzhak Rabin, whose resignation set the stage for Peres' nomination, will have to pay a $1,600 fine and his wife will face , . criminal charges for an illegal bank account they held in the United 'States, the Ministry of Finance said yesterday. ' The leftist Mapam leadership, deciding whether to pull out of Labor because of opposition to Peres' hawkish stance, voted 159 to 115 'to remain in the coalition. ' The secret-ballot choice included a proposal to re-evaluate Mapam's ".,.. ^^.-.....,,,..,,... - ....„.., relationship with Labor in six months. But that clearly was a face-saving measure, since the vote . reversed Mapan's intention, _announced in February, to pull out of Labor if Peres was chosen as a candidate for prime minister. Labor's central committee later approved a final list of candidates for' parliament, giving Yigal Allon and Abba Eban the No. 2 and No. 3 spots / I I Scholarship presentation April 24 The first James W: Dunlop Memorial Scholarship will be presented at the spring concert of the Penn State Blue Band 3 p.m. April /24 in Eisenhowgr (University) Auditorium.
