The first set of each type of fabric was ranked - without the aid of label information. The sec ond set of each type of fabric was ranked with the aid of the infor mation found on the label except for .the price, and the third was labelfed with the price only. . LABORATORY evaluation of such properties as color fastness, shrinkage, strength and appear ance after laundering will give information about the actual quality of the fabrics purchased.
