The classes will include participation in all physical edu- cation activities such as games, ball handling skills, tumbling, folk dancing and basic rhythms, Della Durant, assistant professor of physical education, said All the classes will be con ducted by women physical edu cation majors enrolled in a teaching methods course, under Miss Durant's supervision. "These classes will give students a lab teaching experience under the direction of qualified super visors," Miss Durant said. Activity classes were conducted last year and were "very bene ficial to both the children and the ,student instructors who partici !pated," she added. The series of classes, which is sponsored by the College of Physical Education and Ath letics is open to children of University faculty and staff members.
