ISA Will Sponsor Annual Dink Debut The Independent S indents Association will begin its second year of operation \v sponsoring the Dink Debut and Class Night at 8:30 Friday at the skating rink. The highlight of the week will come when the Indie Queen is ciowned at the Autumn Ball Saturday night. Later during the year, ISA will sponsor two "Project Joeys", programs in which stu dents entertain orphans and un derpriveleged children in the area. For the first "Project Joey," to be held Nov. 11, ISA mem bers will travel to an orpanage. The other program will take place at Easter time and will be held on campus. ISA will sponsor a tea Home coming weekend for alumni and a dance for new students at the beginning of the winter term. During the Spring' semester, the French Institute to Show "Mr, Hulot's Holiday" The first of seven French films, sponsored by the French Institute, will be presented at 8 tonight in 209 Home Economics South, The title is “Les Vacances do M. Hulot" (Mr. Hulot's Holiday). The other films scheduled for the Fall Term will be shown on alternate Wednesdays. They are open to the public to the extent that seats are available in the assigned room. The purpose of ISA is to plan, promote, execute and coordinate social, service and educational af fairs for independents. “We hope to become the “Voice of the Independents” Barry Rein, acting chairman said. The organization's constitu tion was approved by the Senate Committee on Student Affairs last spring. The governing body of ISA is the Board of Directors, consisting of 20 members who are elected by all independents in the fall. Vacancies on the board are filled bv appointments from the execu tive committee. The four ISA officers are elected from the board in the spring term.
