Every campus event from intra mural boxing to student govern ment to a business administration faculty meeting comes under the beat of some Collegian reporter or photographer. Staffers check the assignment sheet daily, cover meetings, get interviews and write their stories. Advanced members supervise headline writing and copy read ing. National and international news is provided by the Associated Press wire service. Operating The Daily Collegian which has a readership of over 20,000 costs approximately $70,000 per year.
