PAGE SIX Student Counts Steps for $3OO By LYNNE CEREFICE An employee of a large metropolitan hotel, who was denied access to the hotel ele vator, had to use the stairway in his Nally work. One day he decided to count the number of steps in the build ing. To save time, he first count ed by 2s, but he found that when he reached the top there was one step left over. Then he counted by 3s and found that there were two steps left over. When he counted by 4s, there were three steps left over, by ss, there were 4 steps left over and by Gs, there were five steps left over. However, all this snow has stopped my colleagues from remarking that the winters are nothing like those when they were kids. I::1 Snow has also caused some hardships among students.
