Austin, associate dean of men, said yesterday. ! One of the students who was apprehended by the Campus Pa- Itrol for reckless driving was placed on disciplinary probation for the balance of the semester, Austin said. The action was made i severe because the student failed !to cooperate with the Campus Patrol and was djsrepectful to the patrol, Austin explained. Austin stated that many stu dents do not show proper re spect to Campus Patrolmen. The Campus Patrol has authority in many fields and “students must cooperate or take the conse quences,” Austin said. A student on disciplinary pro bation cannot hold offrices or head any committees of student activities. Also a notation of his probation is placed by his official transcript. ! The other student was placed on tribunal probation for the re mainder of the semester for in stalling a telephone set in his aster chef ecialties! Sizzling steak dinners with tasty trimmings.
