The case must be reveiwed by the Senate Sub-Committee Seniors to File Payment Terms All graduating seniors who still owe on their loans under the National Defense Education Act are reminded that they must file a repayment schedule. This schedule is to be filed by May 18 in the student loan office, 6 Willard. H. FL Gilbert, processar of stu dent loans, said that seniors plan ning a teaching career or a tour in military service should acquire a certification that they are eli gible for credits before Jeaving the University. Students going into teaching may obtain credits up to 59 per cent of the total loan, They are obtained at the rate of le per cent a year. Students entering the military service may qualify for a grace period of three years on the pay ment of the principal and interest of their loans. Perez, who is in charge of constructing the clam, said. until 1961, according to Reed Fer guson, director of University Re lotions. He explained that the lake needed a summer's time to clean itself up. He said It took that long for the twigs and other debris on the bootom of the lake, left over from construction, to float to the top. The area will be used by the University forestry classes and the other groups that regularly use this area this summer. The camps in the area will still be used for department picnics and by the Outing Club for camping. Other groups that use the area for workshops every year will be able to use them as before, Fergu son said. The University owns 6400 acres of land in the Stone Valley region.
