PENNSYLVANIA Fall En rol I men t 936 Students Named Will Increase To Over 20,0001 The University is expecting a total enrollment of more than 20,000 students this fall, an in crease over the 19,869 that reg istered last year. Dr. Robert G. Bernreuter, dean of admissions and registrar, said today that the total will include about 15,000 on the, main cam pus, of which about 12,900 will ibe undergraduates. These figures [reflect an increase of about 400 [over a year ago. Activity for the fall semester began with the mass arrival on Sept. 13 of about 4400 new students who are participating in the annual Orientation Week pro gram. This number includes 3200 freshmen, 500 transfers from other colleges and universities and 700 transfers from university cam puses and centers throughout the State. Registration began Wednesday and continues through noon to day and the first classes of the Monday.
