In that period 31,500 took economy flights while 8,900 traveled tourist on North Atlantic routes between New York, Montreal, Houston, Mexico City and Amsterdam. For the same four month period of 1951, 30,200 flew tourist class on those routes. Other major transatlantic car riers are retaining tourist fares. Sabena Airlines is increasing its tourist service by 50 per cent be ginning Nov. 1. Scandinavian Air lines System ended its tourist class when the economy fare went into effect. The agrement calls for raising the flight frequency to two flights weekly in the summer of 1959, making a total of four services weekly between the two cities. KLM will operate the service via Warsaw to Moscow with DC-6Bs while Aeroflot will fly the Tupo ley 104 A jet. United Air Lines Increase Flights CHICAGO—United Air Lines has increased it weekly flight schedules between California and Hawaii to operate 30 flights every week in each direction.
