French Journal Features Work Of Professor The work of a University pro fessor of physics, the first scien tist to view atoms through a field ion microscope, which he de veloped and perfected, is featured as the leading article in the De cember issue of a French scien tific magazine. The reproduction of a photo graph on the cover of the maga -sine, "Science et Vie," was taken by Dr. Erwin W. Muller through his misroscope. The magazine has a large circulation throughout Europe.. Dr. Muller has received national and international recognition for his accomplishment which was announced in October. 1955. at the annual meeting of the Electron Tvliscroscope Society of America held" at the University.
