At the hearing, Emerick said he had six draft beers late Feb. 13 and was returning to his apart ment after taking his roommates to the Town House. Emerick pleaded guilty before Judge Ivan Walker in Centre County court on April 2. He was fined $lOO plus $57 costs, spent 10 days in jail, and had his driv ing license suspended. At the Tribunal hearing, Emer ick denied having driven at a high rate of speed. He also denied that he nearly fell while turning around after walking a straight line, and not being able to stand straight while having his eyes closed. Emerick is the third student in two days to be suspended by the subcommittee.
