(Continued from page one)
that outside groups, other than
Cabinet, will contribute funds to
the project.
Robert Bahrenburg,
versity president, said that he
had not appointed anyone to look
into the feasibility of donating
the money to the project "because
it would be better for the student
body to create interest within it
self and take it upon itself to
look into the matter."
Before turning down the pro
posal to donate $2359.70 Cabinet
expresed general belief that not
enough research had been done.
Suspension--

close his eyes and stand straight.
Emerick was found guilty by
Justice of the Peace Guy G. Mills
of drunken driving and bound
over to Centre County court.
At the hearing, Emerick said
he had six draft beers late Feb. 13
and was returning to his apart
ment after taking his roommates
to the Town House.
Emerick pleaded guilty before
Judge Ivan Walker in Centre
County court on April 2. He was
fined $lOO plus $57 costs, spent
10 days in jail, and had his driv
ing license suspended.
At the Tribunal hearing, Emer
ick denied having driven at a
high rate of speed. He also denied
that he nearly fell while turning
around after walking a straight
line, and not being able to stand
straight while having his eyes
closed.
Emerick is the third student in
two days to be suspended by the
subcommittee. Grey (Myer. sen
ior in forestry from Concordville,
and Robert Wenner, senior in
forestry from Allentown, were
suspended Wednesday for break
ing and entering the team room
under the Beaver field stands and
stealing fly-tying equipment.
