The citation was directed to Brehm as a "teacher, researchist, and citizen." The medallions and scrolls were presented by Presi dent Eisenhower with Eric A. Walker, clean of the School of En gineering, and Lyman E. Jack son, dean of the School of Agri culture, reading the citations. Eisenhower in his talk said that the nation is based on its rank and file but that it recognizes those with unusual aptitude. The national belief, he said, is in the perfectibility of mankind an d prestige and property are used as a stimulus. He said that there is a need for leadership in the realm of ideas and to help convert an under standing of these ideas into every day workings. Technicians are Ruth Lyne and Jolly Oswalt. "Fig Leaves" is the story of an eccentric artist in tthe Victorian Philadelphia of the 1890's who tries to find a girl to pose as a model.
