Three 6ther Nittany teams will pursue their fortunes on foreign fields with Coach Joe Bedenk’s baseballers facing their first away test at Buck nell, the track team opening at Columbus, Ohio, and State’s la crossemen tilting against Rutgers at New Brunswick, N.J. ) Action here will be provided by Duquesne’s grldders this after noon at 2 p.m., Lehigh—tennis (2 p.m.)i Georgetown—golf (1:30 p.m.) and Kenyon—JV lacrosse (2 p.m.). - . Thlnelads in Tri-Meet ' Cant. Jim Gehrdes will lead the Nittany track team into a battle royal with Michigan State and Ohio State at Columbus, Ohio, this afternoon. It Will be the opening meet of the season for the cindermen of Coach Chick Werner and will be one of the top meets of the collegi ate track season. Veteran sprinter Wil' Lancaster will make the trip and partici pate. The ace runner was injured in practice last week and was'con sidered a doubtful starter; His presence at'the meet boosts Penn State’s chances. Nine Seeks Third Win The Lion diamond squad will make its first road trip of the season as they journey to Lewis burg to meet the Bisons of Buck nell. ■ Coach Bedenk announced, that Dalton Rumberger will go on the mound in an effort to make it two straight for the Nittanies. Rumberger has pitched in only one game this season—the 6-3 loss to Rutgers.
