Not conceded even an outside chance of surviving the elimina tion rounds, the 'Lions became the tourney "surprise" after they kn'ocked over two pre-tourney favorites and advanced to the fi nals in which they were narrow ly defeated by North Carolina State. As a center, Schisler usually finds himself confronted with the opposing team's high scorer—and he has met some of the best in collegiate ball. His choice as out standing goes to the former 'lOl - All-American now playing with the New York Knickerbock ers, Ernie Vandeweghe.
