PAIGE EIGHT ' AVC Requests No Change in ROTC AVC passed a resolution, Wed nesday night, calling on the Col lege to continue its present pol icy concerning ROTC and return ing veterans, said Chapter Chair man Earl Kemmler. A committee consisting of Leo Troy, chairman, Robert Golden, John Mapes and Melvin Katinsky were selected to call on the •Committee on Academic Stand ards,” stating AVC’s position and opposing the recommendation of CoL Ben-Hu r Ohastaine. The chapter also instructed its delegates to the National Conven tion to take the lead in inserting a World Government Plank in the AVC National Platform. Ten dollars was voted to the Cance r Drive and the government was oalled on to put through a na tional (health bill. The government is this way would assume the re sponsibility of subsidizing drives so that the public would not be continuously solicited for funds.
