The New Skating Rink. Those individuals who enjoy going on a slate will doubtless be glad to known that the, new soooo skating rink being built by Knisely Brothers will be opened at Thanksgiving. The new rink, which will probably be used also as a dance floor, will have a frontage of fifty feet on Beaver avenue and a depth of one hundred and fifty feet. It will be equipped with the Winslow skate, the best ootainable, and it is likely that on the opening occasion the college orchestra will occupy the overhang ing stage. The floor is to be con sti ucted of hard maple and will be laid in the best possible manner. The fact that the rink will be managed by J. S. Knisely gives as surance that the best of order will be maintained. The Local Live Stock Exhibition. Having in mind, doubtless, the exhibit of live stock at the Bellefonte Fair several persons installed a simi lar attraction(?) on the first floor of the Main building one night last week. Occupying the center of the exhibit was the new drinking foun tain which is to be placed on College avenue. Around this were grouped a number of animals which, although all right in their proper places, were decidedly not in harmony with their present surroundings. Boys will be boys. INTERCOLLEGIATE NOTES.
