The. game was well played throughout, but our men had the advantage in batting, while Mitinger held the visi tors to three hits. This m , kes the fifteenth straight victory for State. Mr. Downton Speaks to Elec. tricals Mr. Downton of the Westinghouse Electric company gave a talk before the Electrical Engineering Society last Saturday morning. His re marks were principally on the ap prentice courses which college graduates pursue while in the com pany's employ. He illustrated his talk by pictures of the shops, the men, and their work. Mr. Down ton has charge of these apprentice courses and has developed them in to the important feature of the com pany's work which they now are. Atter the tali, a short reception was held, in which many men had the pleasure of meeti ig him. A num ber of this year's class of Electricals have accepted positions with the Westinghouse Electric Company. Don't forget the Minister's Wife. THE STATE COLLEGIAN Last Friday afternoon our Re serves played the Bellefonte nine at Meadowbrook paik for the benefit of the Bellefonte hospital. in the presence of a large crowd. Several town players . were added to the Bellefonte academy's line up but the fine game put up by the Re serves made victory certain horn the start. Skemp pitched a brilliant game, allowing but two hits and striking out 10 batters. Bellefonte would have been snut out, but for an error in the thira inning.
