LOCAL The incandescent light placed in front of McAllister Hall is a decided v improvement. The members of the Varsity foot ball squad lined up for their picture last Saturday afteinoon. The extra chairs placed in the Engineering Reading Room are ap preciated by the students. The inter-collegiate debate be tween Swarthmore and State will be held in the Auditorium to-night. The Seniors will take their final examination in Political Econmy in two instalments, Thursday and Fri day evenings. The basketball season will be opened on Friday evening, 8.15 o’clock, when State will meet the Juniata College team. On account of the Christmas holi days the publication of the Col legian will be supended until Thurs day, January 11, 1906. Capt. Patterson, superintendent of the College grounds, has apoint ed two night watchmen who will practically cover the entire college property at least once every hour during the night. As usual it looks as if the Sophomores would have the best of it in men, but history repeats itself occasionally, and it may be that Sat urday next will see another Fresh man victory.
