More than thirty members of the College band participated in the grand parade held at the conclave of the Knights Templar at Williamsport, Tuesday. The Bellefonte Comman dery of Knights Templars secured the services of the college band for the occasion and the musicians left here Monday evening spending the night in Bellefonte and going on to William sport Tuesday morning. Upon arriv ing in Bellefonte Monday evening the band serenaded Governor Beaver at his home. A unique feature of the parade at Williamsport was that at one time all the bands present were grouped together and played “Onward Christian Soldiers ” The fellows re turned to college Wednesday morning. Inspection Trip. A party of Senior Agriculturists left last Saturday on an inspection trip to Philadelphia. The men will be gone for one week. Points of interest to them in and about the Quaker City are being visited. The Reserve Trip, Friday morning the Reserve Base ball team started on a short trip and met Bellefonte Academy at Bellefonte that afternoon. "Mike” Dodge pitched for our boys and had the game entirely under his control until the end of the eighth inning. With the score 6-2, the Academy succeeded in getting in five runs on a couple of hits and two bad errors so that 6-7 in favor of Belle fonte was the final score. On Saturday the team played Juni ata college at Huntingdon and easily defeated them by the score 10-5. Sankey pitched for us and did consis tant work, allowing only two hits while our fellows pounded the ball in good style. W. L.
