( -- I N March 25, the Women's Glee Club gave a recital, in the Chapel, of " The fisher Maidens." This difficult cantata was very credibly rendered under the leadership of Miss Hattie Atherton, to whom special credit is due. The Glee Club was assisted by the Mandolin Club, whose selections alternated with those of . the Glee Club. The selections by the full chorus received rounds of applause as did the duets given by Miss Helen and Chas. Atherton. Those who staid away on account of the inclemency of the weather missed a rare treat. . The Seminary Opinator, the monthly publication of Wyoming Seminary, has in its February edition two splendid half-tone pictures of the Main Building and Armory, and the Engineering Building, of the Penn'a State College together with a description of the college and the courses 'offered. The College Athlete, of Boston, published a half-tone picture of State's champion '9B foot ball team in its February edition. Arrangements have been completed to hold a dual track meet with Dickinson at Carlisle on May 24, and to hold one with that institution here next year. The conditions of agreement are materially the same as those in our meet with Bucknell this spring. An unintentional error was made in last month's LANCE in speaking of Stevenson instead of Lockwood as Captain of the Senior Class basket ball team. The following new students have entered the Preparatory De partment of this institution this session, W. M. Phillips, F. R. Schaffer and N. G. Senor Elazael.C. Prado of Bogota, United States of Columbia, South America, has written to this institution for a catalogue, and desires to know whether he would be admitted as a student upon the presentation of a certificate from the Columbia National Uni versity, The Seniors, in a hotly contested debate, won from the Juniors COLLEGE NOTES.
