Many of our colleges are beginning to realize
the importance of journalism. Mr. James G.
Bennett has donated sr,ooo to Harvard, Prince
ton, Yale and Columbia colleges and to the Uni
versity of New York, to be invested and the inter
est thereof to be given as a prize in journalism.
