—The fatuous builders of Wood Working Ma chinery, J. A Fay & Co., Cincinnati, Ohio have just issued a magnificent catalogue of 350 pages which is a master-piece of typography. The vol ume has elegantly embossed covers and is complete in every particular; in fact, the largest and most 'comprehensive ever issued by a machinery house. The tools of this great company are celebrated the world over for the highest efficiency attainable and are always of the most advanced type. The new catalogue displays them to the best advantage with Complete descriptions, and contains besides infor mation of such a character as to render it invalua ble to all wood-workers. —The special car containing the Senate appro priation committee arrived at the college i t a. m., March 22. After inspecting the new Mechanical building and the shops, they dined with President Atherton. The afternoon was occupied by in specting the several college departments at work and the Experiment Station. Senators Smith of Lancaster, Critchfleld of Somerset, Becker of Phil adelphia, and Henninger of Lehigh made address es to the students in the chapel.
