Election of Co. Suit. The Directors of Cambria county will meet on Monday next to elect a Superintendent for the public schools. As there are one hundred and fifty directors in the county, and about a dozen applicants fur the office to be filled, there will doubtless be a busy time in town. If at any time the duties of these preservers of the "nation's bulwark" should become tedious or irksome if the wheels of busi- ness ehould chance to clog to vary the exercises, we would suggest the propriety of their adjourning, and marching in a solid body to our office, where they can entertain themselves by subscribing for The AUtijhanian, (if they have not already done so.) After this, business will go on with renewed briskness, aud we doubt not such a selection will be made for the office in view as will reflect credit on all con cerned. The experiment can easily be tried, and will be found to be worthy of all acceptation. The Japanese Commissioners. These august personages seem to be kick ing up quite a dust all over the country.
