During the long period that I was afflicted wiih the disease, I used a great many a plications, (among them several celebrated preparation) as w. II as taking iuw.ir. remedies, including a number of bottles of Rwaim' Panncrn, Extract of Xarsopnrilla, Ac, In fact, it would be imporsible to enumerate all the medicines I used. I was also under the cure of two of ihe most dis linguUhed physicians of this city, but without re ceiving much benefit, and I despaired of ever being cured. In the fill of l?:)fl, the discse nt the time being very violent, I commenced uaing the Rote Ointment, (prepared by Vaughiin & Divis.) In a f. w applications the violent itching ceaed, tha swelling abated, the irnplion began to disippear, and before I hud used ajar ihe disease was entirely cuted. It has now been nearly a yrar and a half since, and there is nol a veMige of (be disease re maining, except the sr.ua from the deep pit formed by the disease. It is impossible, for me to describe, in a certificate the severity of the disease and my suffering, but I will be ple iaed to give a fuller ac count to any person wanting further satisfaction, who will cull on me.
