The following is an al,-tract of the most important portions of the report : One hundred and thirty-six miles of the second truck of the road have been finished and put in use: 51 miles of the new track are east of Altoona, and 89 miles west of that point; SO miles upon the Eastern Division. and 31 miles of the Western, are yet to be lain. It is expected that a very considerable portion of the remaining work will be completed during the coming summer. The branch road to Indiana will be ready for business in the course of a few months.
