lyt: graft Morning foot. PITTSBURGH, PA. THURSDAY MORNING, JUNE 26, 1845 PITTSBURGH BOARD OF TRADE. COMMITTEE FOR JUNE. M. Robertson, W. B. Scaife, R E. Sellers Tut IRON STEAMER HUNTER.—Yesterday after! noon steam was raised on board this neat little craft foe the purpose of trying her progressive capacity, and testing the utility of the "Hunter Propeller." A few minutes before three, she left the wharf and proceeded in handsome style up the Monongahela to the head of Pipetown. Here the officers concluded to turn, as the water above that point was considered too shoal to "round to" with safety; but, unfortunately, befme she got completely round, she ran upon a sunken coal boat, and the strong current fixed her so firmly on it that her machinery had not power sufficient to force her off. After taking a hasty glance at the position of the vessel we supposed she wee anchored for the balance of the evening, and we, accompanied by a friend, who bad urgent business on shore, left in a smaller craft that had been very opportunely provided for oar exclusive oenvesietace.
