Church, Allegheny, have pur chased a lot of ground in the Second Ward Allegheny, on which they contemplate erect ing an elegant brick building for school and congregational purposes. The ground fronts sixty.eight feet on Bidwell Btreet, and extends back a distance of one hundred and twenty five feet. It is in contemplation, for the pres ent, to erect a one Btorv brick building on the roar of the lot, thirty feet front by fifty deep, and sixteen feet high, at a cost of between flf teen hundred and two thousand dollars. Preparations are being made to commence building during the coming week, and it is proposed to have it ready in about three months.
