The account in the stock and share market which was adjusted on Friday was the heaviest that has ocotirred for a long time past. In foreign exchanges drafts are about the same. If the firman confers on the company absolute possession, in plain language, the sovereignty of several miles of the banks is ceded, and the right conferred of erecting fortresses. It forms no,part ofthe policy of England that the independence of a friendly State shall be assailed. . SPAIN AND MOROCCO. —The Spanish expe dition to Morrow° was reinforced on the 13th by four thousand infantry and six thousand cavalry. Report fixes the loss of the Moore in all the combats thus far at five thousand. Cholera prevailed at Tetuan. Gen. Prim's corps was attacked on the road to Tetuan, and had, forty killed and wounded. The Moors were repulsed with great loss. The Madrid Journal reported the govern ment as about to borrow 26,000,000 francs from the bank, on deposit of securities. ITA LY. —The reported marriage of Garibaldi is pronounced unfounded. The latest from Turin says that the choice of a Sardinian representative to the Congress wag still undecided. Cardinal Wiseman had arrived at Rome:and was cordially received by the members of the Sacred College. Re had an interview with the Pope. AUSTRIA.—The Paris correspondent of the London Globe gives information that the Em peror of Austria contemplates abdication. He says that the Arch Duchess Sophia, the head of the house of Hapsburg, who holds her court at Prague, is the authoress of the scheme. TURXEY.—Advices from Constantinople say that the Porte was deliberating whether it would be expedient to bring the Suez Canal question before the Great Powers. The official journal of Constantinople pub lished an article showing the necessity for in tervention in Service." It is stated that the demand made by the French Ambassador for a Orman favorable to the Suez Canal project had been supported by the . /dinisters of Austria, Prussia, Russia and Sardinia.
